TROY, N.Y. — Four different players scored and Matthew Galajda made 27 saves to help Cornell clinch ECAC Hockey’s regular season championship with a 4-2 win over Rensselaer Friday night.

Morgan Barron had a goal and an assist to pace the Big Red, while Trevor Yates had two assists.

It is the first time that Cornell has won the Cleary Cup since 2005.

Jacob Hayhurst had a goal and two assists for RPI, while Linden Marshall made 27 saves. The Engineers are locked into eleventh place heading into the last game of the regular season.
