Sarah Moe, a four-time all-MIAC honoree, two-time all-American and the 2002 NCAA Division III player of the year, has been named head women’s hockey coach at St. Olaf, Athletic Director Matt McDonald announced Monday.
Moe, a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, was also named Minnesota’s NCAA Woman of the Year in 2002.
“We are thrilled to have Sarah on staff,” said McDonald. “She has great passion and ambition, and will continue our quest for a league title.”
Moe, a native of West Des Moines, Iowa, was twice the MIAC’s player of the year and was a part of four conference championship teams at Gustavus.
Aside from her coaching duties, Moe will continue to pursue her master’s in counseling and student personnel at MSU-Mankato.
