Michigan recruit Luke Moffatt, Minnesota-Duluth recruit Justin Faulk and Rocco Grimaldi scored as the United States beat Sweden 3-1 on Friday to win the gold medal at the 2010 IIHF World Men’s Under-18 Championship in Minsk, Belarus.
Jack Campbell made 33 saves for the Americans, who were 6-1 in the tournament.
The U.S. won for the second straight year and fourth time overall.
