Jamie Wood is the new associate head coach at New Hampshire, following two seasons at Minnesota.
Wood joins coach Brian McCloskey with the Wildcats.
“We are thrilled to have Jamie and his family join our program here in Durham,” McCloskey said in a statement. “Jamie is an outstanding teacher and coach with an enviable track record. I know that Jamie will have an enormous impact on our players and coaching staff.”
At Minnesota, Wood assisted with forwards and other coaching responsibilities such as recruiting, scouting, game-planning and video breakdown.
“I am really excited to come to UNH,” Wood said. “Obviously, the program has a great tradition and a respected and dedicated staff. I believe it will be a great fit for me and my family, and I can’t wait for next season.”
