Vinny Saponari, who was removed from the Boston University roster after last season, will play next season for rival Boston College.
Saponari, who has two seasons of eligibility remaining, confirmed the decision to The Daily Free Press at Boston University.
He had 47 points in 82 games over two seasons with the Terriers before being dismissed by coach Jack Parker, reportedly for missing a punitive bike ride after he broke the team’s drinking policy, the newspaper reported.
Saponari was a fourth-round pick of the Atlanta Thrashers, No. 94 overall.
