Though no official announcement has been made, it appears Lake Superior State junior defenseman Zach Trotman has given up his senior season with the Lakers and has signed an entry-level deal with the Boston Bruins.
Boston drafted Trotman with the very last pick (210th overall) of the 2010 NHL draft.
Trotman confirmed the signing Saturday to the New England Hockey Journal.
After an eight-point freshman season at LSSU, Trotman scored 41 points in the next two years, posting a career-best 11 goals this past season
