The Syracuse women’s team has named Brendon Knight a new assistant coach.
Knight joins the Orange program after six years as head coach of the Hamilton women’s team.
“We are very excited to have Brendon join our program as he brings a wealth of experience with him from his time at Hamilton and Potsdam,” said SU head coach Paul Flanagan in a news release. “He is an excellent teacher of the game, a very knowledgeable recruiter and possesses an outstanding character.”
In his time at Hamilton, Knight guided the team to 57 wins and six postseason appearances.
Knight began his time at Hamilton as an assistant men’s coach for the 2005-06 season. Prior to arriving at Hamilton, Knight was an assistant coach at his alma mater, Potsdam, from 2002-05. He graduated from Potsdam in 2001 and played three seasons there (1998-2001).
