The Colgate women’s team has hired former Niagara head coach Josh Sciba as an assistant coach.
Sciba was the Purple Eagles’ head coach last season after spending three seasons as an assistant coach with the program.
“Josh brings a wealth of experience from his time at Niagara University where he spent several years as an assistant as well as the head coach,” said Colgate coach Greg Fargo in a statement. “He was a great player at Notre Dame and has earned an outstanding reputation as a coach and recruiter.”
Prior to his coaching career, Sciba played in the ECHL for three different teams during the 2007-08 season. He skated at Notre Dame from 2003-07 after two seasons with the U.S. National Team Development Program.
