St. Cloud State goaltender Ryan Faragher has signed with the Anaheim Ducks and will forgo his final season of college eligibility.
Faragher signed a one-year contract and was assigned to the Ducks’ AHL team in Norfolk, Va., for which he dressed but did not play in Saturday’s game at Binghamton.
He led the Huskies to the Frozen Four in 2013 and to the West Regional final in 2014, winning conference regular season titles in both seasons.
In 98 collegiate games, Faragher had a 2.49 GAA, a .911 save percentage and five shutouts.
