Finalists for 2015 AHCA awards announced

The finalists for 2014-15 AHCA awards, including the STX/AHCA Division I Women’s Coach of the Year Award, the STX/AHCA Division III Women’s Coach of the Year Award, the 2015 Laura Hurd Award (best Division III women’s player) and the 2015 Sid Watson Award (best Division III men’s player) were announced Tuesday.

The coaching awards finalists were determined by coaches that were either named their conference’s coach of the year or that led their teams to the national tournament semifinals.

For the player awards, all finalists were their respective conference’s player of the year.
