Colgate announced Wednesday that incoming freshman Adam Dauda has deferred his enrollment at the university for “medical reasons.”
Dauda will enroll and attend classes once he has fully recovered from his undisclosed injury.
“We share in Adam’s disappointment that he will be unable to join us for the 2015-16 season,” Colgate coach Don Vaughan said in a news release. “As with any of our student-athletes, Adam’s health comes first. We fully support Adam in his decision and look forward to him being a part of the program as soon as he is able to do so.”
