Rich Hansen and Phil Osaer have been named to the staff of USA Hockey’s American Development Model.
Both will begin their positions on Sept. 21.
A former player at Mercyhurst (2001-05), Hansen will serve as an ADM regional manager with responsibility for USA Hockey’s Atlantic (Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey) and New York Districts. He will work with local associations and programs in those areas as a leading resource for age-appropriate training, competition and long-term athlete development.
Osaer, who played college hockey at Ferris State (1998-2001), will serve as ADM manager of youth goaltending programs, a role in which he will help lead the development of netminders across the country, utilizing age-appropriate training and competition curriculum.
Hansen replaces Matt Herr, while Osaer’s position is an addition to the ADM staff.
