Bentley has hired former Colgate goaltender Steve Silverthorn as the program’s newest assistant coach.
A 2005 graduate of Colgate, Silverthorn played in the Dallas Stars system with the AHL’s Texas Stars and ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads.
Silverthorn had been a volunteer goaltending consultant for Brown the past two seasons and replaces Chris Dyment, whose tenure at Bentley lasted just over a month when he left to become the director of hockey operations at Boston University.
