Ferris State defenseman Brandon Anselmini was suspended for one game by the WCHA on Saturday for a checking-from-behind penalty.
Anselmini was ejected from Friday’s loss to Michigan Tech in the third period after he was called for the major penalty.
He’ll miss Saturday’s rematch against the Huskies.
In a two-game series against Michigan Tech last season, Anselmini was called for two minor penalties at the final horn of the opener and a cross-checking minor and 10-minute misconduct in the second game.
