Freshman forward Tim Doherty has left Brown before even playing one game and will return to play junior hockey with the Boston Junior Bruins of the United States Premier Hockey League, according to SB Nation.
Doherty recorded 28 goals and 34 assists in 46 games last season with the Junior Bruins and has been removed from the hockey roster on the official Brown athletic website.
