Bowling Green announced Sunday the addition of defensemen Jordan Ernst and Adam Smith to the roster, and both players will be eligible to play as soon as the Dec. 30 game against Western Michigan.
“We are excited to have Jordan and Adam join the BGSU Hockey family,” Falcons coach Chris Bergeron said in a statement. “They will provide internal competition on a daily basis and will have the opportunity to earn a regular spot in our lineup.”
Ernst spent the first half of the 2015-16 season with the USHL’s Madison Capitols of the USHL, totaling four assists and 24 penalty minutes in 16 games for the Capitols.
Smith joins BGSU after playing for the Newmarket Hurricanes of the OJHL. He played in 32 games with Newmarket, recording five goals and 14 points this season.
