Colgate announced Monday that forward Adam Dauda has enrolled in school for the spring semester and will join the team immediately.
Dauda deferred his enrollment for medical reasons in the fall, but has been cleared by university medical personnel for all hockey-related activities and is eligible to compete for the Raiders when they return to action Dec. 29 against Brown in the Sheraton/TD Bank Catamount Classic in Burlington, Vt.
For the first half of this season, Dauda, a Slovakia native, skated for the Cumberland Grads of the Central Canada Hockey League, compiling 11 goals and 37 points in 25 games.
“I am extremely excited to return to Colgate,” Dauda said in a news release. “It’s almost the exact opposite feeling of coming in August when I was nervous and scared as to what would happen because I was hurt and I didn’t really know what was wrong. Now I am feeling good and I don’t think I could be any more thrilled to arrive. I have been working hard the past couple months to get in ever better shape than I was last season.
“Hopefully, I can make an impact as soon as I come into Colgate.”
