ECAC Hockey announced Monday night that Clarkson sophomore forward Sam Vigneault has been assessed a one-game suspension as the result of his actions in the Clarkson-Colgate game from Saturday, Jan. 30.
The league action was taken after review of an incident that occurred at the end of the second period. No penalty was called on the play.
Vigneault is not eligible to compete in Clarkson’s next game this Friday, Feb. 5, when the Golden Knights visit Union.
