The University of Wisconsin Athletic Board met Friday afternoon and approved the extension of women’s head coach Mark Johnson five years through June 30, 2021.
Johnson led the Badgers to a 35-4-1 mark in 2015-16.
Wisconsin won the WCHA Final Face-off over Minnesota before losing in the national semifinals to Minnesota.
