Boston College coach Jerry York underwent successful eye surgery on Tuesday, Oct. 25, but will not make this weekend’s two-game trip to Maine and will continue recuperating, according to a school-issued news release.
On Oct. 25, the school announced York’s initial procedure.
York is working with Dr. Jeffrey Heier of Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston on recovery and “will be behind the Eagles’ bench very soon,” the release stated.
