Massachusetts has added sophomore forward Brett Boeing to the roster for the second half of the 2016-17 season.
Boeing played one semester at Michigan Tech last season where he totaled six points on a goal and five assists over 11 games. He is eligible immediately for the Minutemen.
“Brett is a player that is great with the puck on his stick,” said UMass coach Greg Carvel in a statement. “He likes to make plays and is a strong finisher as his track record with Dubuque in the USHL proves that. Brett also plays with jam and energy. These attributes will make him a welcomed addition to our team.”
Boeing returned to the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL for the second half of the 2015-16 season and logged a combined 25 points (seven goals, 18 assists) over 31 regular-season games and 12 postseason contests.
