Cornell will host a 50th anniversary reception for the 1967 NCAA champion men’s team on Saturday, Jan. 28. The reception, which is open to the public, will be part of the weekend full of activities to honor and celebrate the Big Red’s first NCAA champion and the Ivy League’s first NCAA champion in the sport. Among those expected to attend from the 1967 team are Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Ken Dryden, team co-captain Murray Deathe and NCAA tournament most outstanding player Walt “Skip” Stanowski.
