Hockey East announced Tuesday that Massachusetts senior forward Ray Pigozzi has been suspended for one game stemming from an incident at 11:17 of the third period on Saturday, Feb. 11, at UMass Lowell.
On the play, Pigozzi was assessed a five-minute major for boarding and a game misconduct.
Pigozzi will miss the game Feb. 14 against Merrimack and will be eligible to return to the Minutemen lineup on Saturday, Feb. 18, against UMass Lowell.
