The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed Clarkson junior forward Sam Vigneault to a two-year, entry-level contract.
Vigneault has also signed an American Hockey League tryout contract with the Cleveland Monsters, Columbus’ AHL affiliate.
Vigneault posted 12 goals and 24 assists for 36 points with 41 penalty minutes and a plus-9 rating in 39 games during the 2016-17 season.
He finishes his collegiate career with 30 goals among 75 points in 106 games.
