The Bemidji State men’s team has hired Cole Workman to serve as a volunteer assistant coach.Workman joins the Beavers after spending the last two seasons as the head coach and director of player personnel for the Thief River Falls Norskies of the Superior International Junior Hockey League.“It’s humbling for me to make a move in the right direction with hockey and to be a part of a top-notch program like the one that Coach Serratore and his staff runs makes this opportunity that much better,” Workman said in a statement.Prior to Thief River Falls, Workman played four years at Finlandia. Following his playing career, he was a volunteer assistant at Finlandia and then an assistant at Adrian.
