According to MiHockey, Munn Ice Arena will soon undergo renovations to the tune of a $14-16 million expansion price tag.
Michigan State University’s Board of Trustees recently gave school officials the go-ahead to begin planning the project.
Potential rink improvements are expected to include expanded and relocated hockey operations and coaching offices and a new public entrance on the building’s south side.
Four years ago, the school received more than $6 million to add improved lighting and a high-definition scoreboard to Munn.
