American International junior forward Joel Kocur will miss tonight’s Atlantic Hockey tournament quarterfinal Game 3 against Army West Point with a one-game suspension.
Kocur picked up a contact to the head major and a game misconduct in the third period of last night’s loss to Army. While the league did not issue supplemental discipline on the hit, this was Kocur’s third game misconduct of the season.
Per NCAA rules, the third game misconduct carries an automatic one-game suspension, which Kocur will have to serve tonight.
AIC and Army play at 7:05 p.m. EDT.
