North Dakota announced Tuesday that the team and assistant coach Matt Shaw have parted ways, effective immediately.“We thank Coach Shaw for his contributions to North Dakota hockey and wish him the best in future endeavors,” UND head coach Brad Berry said in a statement.A nationwide search will begin soon for Shaw’s replacement.Berry’s staff, which also includes associate head coach Dane Jackson, had remained intact for the duration of his head coaching tenure, just completing their fourth season together with an overall record of 90-52-19 and winning the 2016 national championship.
