Because of the large size of the forum database, the upgrade is expected to take about 12 hours. During this time, the Fan Forum will be unavailable.<\/p>\n<p>The upgrade from vBulletin 4 to vBulletin 5 will include some functional and cosmetic changes. The look of the Fan Forum will be in a color scheme that resembles the main USCHO.com site. The new Fan Forum will work very well on a mobile device. One major change will be in the way posts are made in a thread.
