Western Ontario scored four unanswered goals in the second period on Friday and defeated Canisius 9-2 in the opening round of the Oktoberfest Invitational at the University of Waterloo.
Marc Bouffard and Jeff Street scored for Canisius, but Bouffard’s goal didn’t come until Western Ontario had amassed a 7-0 lead.
Jeff Attard scored a pair of goals for the Mustangs.
