Joanne Eustace had a hat trick Saturday to lead Minnesota-Duluth to a 7-3 victory over Wisconsin for a split of the teams’ weekend series.
Eustace tied the game at 2 in the first period and scored two consecutive goals in the third period for a 6-3 lead.
Meghan Hunter, Sis Paulsen and Karen Rickard scored for the Badgers.
Sanna Peura, Jenny Hempel, Hanne Sikio and Michelle McAteer also scored for Duluth.
Wisconsin’ Jackie MacMillan made 41 saves in her first loss of the season. Duluth’s Tuula Puputti stopped 24 shots and improved to 3-1.
