D’Agostino, Cornell answer late to beat No. 19 Princeton

Andrew Calof finally got No. 19 Princeton level in the final two minutes, but Cornell’s Nick D’Agostino stole his thunder, scoring 29 seconds later for a 2-1 Big Red victory on Friday at Hobey Baker Rink.

Mike Garman made a career-best 39 saves for Cornell (5-8-1, 3-4 ECAC Hockey), which got a power-play goal from Sean Collins in the second period to take the lead.

Calof got credit for a goal off a skate with 1:48 left, but D’Agostino put in his own rebound a short time later.

Sean Bonar made 19 saves for Princeton (10-6-1, 6-4-1).
