The Adrian Bulldogs walked out of Milwaukee Saturday afternoon having split the weekend series with Milwaukee School of Engineering, as they won by a score of 3-2.
A pair of first-period goals for the Bulldogs got the ball rolling. Dan Barzcuk got things going quickly, scoring :16 into the first period to put Adrian up 1-0. The Bulldogs then took advantage of a penalty on Kevin LoGludice, as Shelby Gray scored to put the Bulldogs up 2-0.
The second period saw two unanswered goals by the Raiders tie the game at 2-2. A power-play goal from Todd Krupa cut the lead to one before LoGludice tied the game at just three minutes later.
The Bulldogs struck back however, as Grant Telfer scored at the 13:18 mark of the period.
In the third period, there was a defensive struggle, as neither team was able to score.
In net, freshman James Hamby stepped in and played solid for the Bulldogs, stopping 34 shots. Connor Toomey, playing for the second night in a row, took the loss for the Raiders, making 27 saves.
Adrian returns to action next weekend, as they host Lake Forest in a weekend series.
