Amanda Boulier scored a goal and three assists as St. Lawrence defeated Princeton 6-2 on Friday.
St. Lawrence forward Abbey McRae opened the game’s scoring with her seventh goal of the year at 6:26 of the first period. At 12:10, the Tigers tied the game briefly on a goal by Molly Contini. But the momentum shift only lasted nine seconds, as St. Lawrence received the first of back-to-back goals by Jenna Marks at 12:19. Marks tallied the eventual winner at 15:06.
Kelly Cooke scored on the power play in the third period for Princeton’s second goal of the game.
The Saints received additional third-period goals by Jacqueline Wand, Brooke Fernandez and Boulier.
Kimberly Newell made 22 saves for Princeton before being replaced by Ashley Holt with 5:56 left in the game. Holt did not face any shots.
Carmen MacDonald made 34 saves for the Saints.
