Mike Condon made 34 saves as Princeton defeated No. 8 Dartmouth 2-1 Saturday in front of a record crowd of 2,711 on the 90th anniversary of the first game played at Hobey Baker Rink.
Dartmouth took an early lead on a goal by Eric Neiley at 6:14 of the first period. But a penalty at the end of the period led to a power-play goal by Princeton’s Michael Sdao eight seconds into the second. Using that momentum, the Tigers (5-7-4, 4-3-3 ECAC Hockey) scored again at 2:35 on a goal by Jeremy Goodwin.
Charles Grant made 14 saves for Dartmouth (8-5-2, 4-3-1).
