PRINCETON, N.J. — Chris Maniccia and Derek Arnold tallied power-play goals to lead Massachusetts-Lowell to a 2-1 victory over Princeton on Tuesday night.
Aaron Ave scored his first collegiate goal at 16:45 of the first period, giving Princeton a 1-0 lead. But a penalty less than a minute later put the River Hawks on the power play, and Maniccia converted from the point on a feed from Christian Folin.
After a scoreless second, the River Hawks capitalized on the power play again, as Arnold finished on a pass from Joseph Pendenza.
Goaltender Doug Carr made 19 saves in the victory for the River Hawks. Sean Bonar made 29 saves for Princeton.
