Dartmouth tallied the only goal in the first period, as Laura Stacey forced a turnover at the blue line, skated into the zone and rifled a shot over Kimberly Newell’s right shoulder.

Midway though the second, the Big Green grabbed a 2-0 lead on the power play, as Eleni Tebano netted her second goal of the season, assisted by the passing of Kennedy Ottenbreit and Lindsey Allen.

The Princeton offense rallied for 22 shots in the second period, and finally broke though at 14:55 with a power play of their own. After Robyn Chemago stopped a shot by Morgan Sly, Brianna Leahy found the puck sitting right on the goal line as there was a pile up in the crease, and Leahy pushed the puck into the net to cut the deficit in half. The goal was given a lengthy review by the officiating crew and allowed to stand.

Princeton completed the rally to earn a tie at 10:53 of the third, as Molly Contini netted her 13th goal of the season on a tip-in, set up by Kelsey Kolzer and Jaimie McDonell.

Chemago made 37 saves for Dartmouth, including a 21-save effort in the second period. Kimberly Newell made 32 saves for Princeton, stopping 11 shots in third, and the only shot in the overtime session.
