Wisconsin-River Falls scored three unanswered goals to come from behind and beat Norwich 4-3 Saturday afternoon in the women’s Division III third-place game at the Stafford Ice Arena in Plattsburgh, N.Y.
Norwich led 3-1 midway through the second before Emily Stark cut the lead to 3-2 at 11:21.
Amy Auran tied the game at 11:26 of the third and Kendal Evenson scored the game-winner at 17:21.
River Falls’ Carly Moran opened the scoring at 3:39 of the first period.
UWRF goalie Angie Hall finished with 18 saves.
For Norwich, Erin Joyce, Rachel Bellio and Kaycie Anderson scored and Loren Carrier and Laurie King each played half the game and combined to make 19 saves.
