GLENDALE, Ariz. — John Hayden had a goal and an assist, and Alex Lyon made 12 saves for a shutout in No. 12 Yale’s 4-0 victory over Arizona State on Friday in the semifinals of the Desert Hockey Classic.
Andrew Gaus, Frankie DiChiara and Joe Snively also scored for the Bulldogs (8-4-2).
Yale will play Michigan Tech in Sunday’s championship game before Arizona State plays Connecticut.
Ryland Pashovitz stopped 36 shots for the Sun Devils (5-16).
