ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Jacob Nehama made 47 saves to backstop Colorado College’s 5-2 victory over No. 4 St. Cloud State on Saturday.
Nehama stopped 19 of 20 shots in the third period for the Tigers (5-17, 3-9 NCHC), who are 5-4 since opening the season 0-13.
CC’s Tanner Ockey, Ben Israel and Sam Rothstein scored second-period goals to open a 5-1 lead. Teemu Kivihalme and Hunter Fejes also scored for the Tigers.
St. Cloud State (17-5, 9-3) had its five-game winning streak snapped.
David Morley and Jimmy Schuldt scored goals, and Charlie Lindgren allowed five goals on 19 shots for the Huskies. Rasmus Reijola replaced Lindgren for the third period and stopped all three shots he faced.
