BOSTON — Adam Gaudette scored twice and added an assist in Northeastern’s 5-1 victory over No. 9 Harvard on Monday in the Beanpot third-place game.
Mike McMurtry, Dylan Sikura and Zach Aston-Reese also scored for the Huskies (10-13-5), who opened up a 3-0 lead after the first period.
Harvard’s Ryan Donato cut into the deficit with a second-period goal, but Aston-Reese and Gaudette scored in the third.
The Crimson (13-7-3) finished fourth in the Beanpot for the second straight season.
Ryan Ruck made 19 saves for Harvard, while Michael Lackey stopped 23 shots for Northeastern.
