At Oceanside Ice Arena, Joey Daccord made 13 of his 28 saves in the third period to post his first shutout of the season as Arizona State salvaged a weekend split with the visiting Hockey East opponent. The Sun Devils recorded one goal in the first and three in the second in a game in which they were outshot, 28-20. Joey Raats scored the game-winning goal with 52 seconds left in the opening frame, while Johnny Walker scored twice in the second and Tyler Busch finished the scoring with a last-minute, power-play goal in the middle period. Chris Hernberg made 16 saves for Lowell. Chris Schutz and Chris Forney each had five shots on goal.
