Following a scoreless first period, Cam Donaldson gave the Big Red a 1-0 lead 16:34 into the second period. Kyle Betts extended the lead to 2-0 10:41 into the third after firing home a backhand pass by Mitch Vanderlaan. Colton Point made 31 saves for Colgate.
