BRIDGEPORT, Conn – A suddenly-streaking RIT squad walked into the Webster Bank Arena looking to seal up some home ice advantage. Thanks to Erik Brown’s performance on Saturday, they might have done that and more.
The Tigers moved into a tie for fourth place with Air Force by virtue of their weekend sweep and 5-0 victory on Saturday night against the Pioneers. Brown scored a Texas-sized hat trick, potting four goals, including the game’s first three goals. He scored twice in the first period, then scored again one minute into the second. Jake Hamacher scored the only goal not scored by the Tiger forward.
