ITHACA, N.Y. – The Big Red scored twice in the third period to beat Yale 3-2 Saturday and clinch a share of the ECAC regular season title. Cornell can clinch the top seed for the playoffs outright with a win or a tie next weekend, or a Union tie or loss.

Freshman Tristan Mullin scored twice for the Big Red, including the game-winner at 18:13 in the third. Yanni Kaldis had two assists, while Matthew Galajda made 30 saves for the win.

The Bulldogs, who entered the night with the worst power play in Division I, got power play goals from Phil Kemp and Charlie Curti.

Corbin Kaczperski had 36 saves for Yale.
