Nick Rieser turned away all 21 Williams shots as second-seeded Amherst moved into the NESCAC semifinals with a 3-0 victory Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Mike Kreger and Darren Reaume scored goals in the first period for Amherst, which outshot Williams 35-21.<\/p>\n

Any hopes Williams, the seventh seed, had of a late-game comeback disappeared when Chris Orszulak scored on a power play for Amherst with just under two minutes left to play.<\/p>\n
