The Huskies posted their third straight win to improve to 5-7-2 overall. The Golden Knights, who saw their two-game winning streak come to a close, slip to 4-6-1 overall.

Trailing 1-0 after two periods, Northeastern took advantage of Clarkson penalty troubles to start the third, connecting for two power-play goals in the opening minute of the final frame.

Ryan scored twice while the Huskies were enjoying a five-on-three advantage, scoring his team-high 10th and 11th goals of the season at 20 and 57 seconds, respectively, into the third. Scott Selig closed out the victory with an empty-net goal with six seconds remaining.

For the second straight game Clarkson took the first-period lead. Just seven seconds after the Knights’ first power-play opportunity of the game, Jay Latulippe deflected in a shot from the right circle by defenseman Randy Jones at 3:19 for his third goal of the season.

Clarkson outshot Northeastern 27-25. Keni Gibson posted 26 saves for the Huskies, while Mike Walsh made 22 stops for the Knights.
