Ferris State had a strong performance against Windsor on Saturday night in a 6-0 exhibition victory. Mark Bomersback had three assists while linemate Jeff Legue had two goals and Derek Nesbitt had a goal and an assist. <\/p>\n
Legue got the scoring started with a wraparound goal in the first period at 4:54 to make it 1-0. Greg Rallo and Carter Thompson also added goals in the first period.<\/p>\n
The second period featured a rebound goal by Nesbitt, and Legue and Matt Rutkowski each scored in the third period to round out the scoring. <\/p>\n
Ferris State finished 3-for-9 on the power play while Windsor was 0-for-9. <\/p>\n
Mike Brown started in net for the Bulldogs and only faced five shots for the first 30 minutes. Matt Swanson finished up and stopped eight shots to complete the shutout.<\/p>\n
Windsor’s Rick Marnon faced a whopping 22 shots the first half of the game and allowed four goals, while Jay Ewisuk finished the game by seeing 23 shots and allowing two goals. <\/p>\n
