Even after Ohio State got on the board with 5:57 left in the second on Carson Meyer&#8217;s 11th goal of the season, the Nittany Lions had an answer when Evan Barratt buried his 11th with 16 seconds left in the frame.<\/p>\n<p>The Buckeyes weren&#8217;t going away, though. Ronnie Hein scored 1:14 into the third and, with the goalie pulled, Ryan O&#8217;Connell scored his first of the season with 2:18 left to close the lead to 4-3.<\/p>\n<p>But Biro and Cole Hults each tallied empty net goals to earn the win.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The Nittany Lions come into Columbus and pick up the W. <\/p>\n<p>No. 9 <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PennStateMHKY?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@PennStateMHKY<\/a> get 3 goals in the 2nd period and defeat the No. 13 Buckeyes 6-3. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/sWnTrEA0zj\">pic.twitter.com\/sWnTrEA0zj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Penn State On BTN (@PennStateOnBTN) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PennStateOnBTN\/status\/1226308812279181313?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 9, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Combined with No. 19 Michigan State&#8217;s 4-2 victory over Minnesota, Penn State moves back into first place with 33 points. Michigan State, Minnesota and Ohio State all are two points behind and now have slight distance over Notre Dame, which was idle this weekend and sits in fifth with 28 points.
