{"id":104103,"date":"2020-02-13T11:24:34","date_gmt":"2020-02-13T17:24:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/?p=104103"},"modified":"2020-02-13T11:24:34","modified_gmt":"2020-02-13T17:24:34","slug":"ten-ncaa-hockey-finalists-announced-for-2020-edition-of-senior-class-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2020\/02\/13\/ten-ncaa-hockey-finalists-announced-for-2020-edition-of-senior-class-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Ten NCAA hockey finalists announced for 2020 edition of Senior CLASS Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-104104\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/senior_class.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/senior_class.jpg 180w, https:\/\/www.uscho.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/senior_class-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/>Ten student-athletes who excel both on and off the ice were selected as finalists today for the 2019-20 Senior CLASS Award.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must be classified as NCAA Division I seniors and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence: community, classroom, character and competition.<\/p>\n<p>An acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School, the Senior CLASS Award focuses on the total student-athlete and encourages students to use their athletic platforms to make a positive impact as leaders in their communities.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists were chosen by national media from the list of candidates announced last month.<\/p>\n<p>Nationwide fan voting begins immediately to help select the winner, and fans are encouraged to submit votes online at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seniorclassaward.com\">Senior CLASS Award website<\/a> through March 30.
